ELTO Annual Report - 31 December 2011
Please note that on pages 11 to 14 of the Annual Report can be found the statements by the Directors’ and Auditors’ as required under ICOBS 8.4.9 as set out in the FSA Handbook in respect of the year ended 31 December 2011.

ELTO has been set up as a company limited by guarantee, with members and interim directors. Its members are organisations owning EL liabilities for UK employers, including active and run-off EL insurers.

ELTO has a contract with each of its members, requiring them to upload data onto the database in a specified format and within specified timescales. Members are levied and will be required to meet the necessary performance requirements.

ELTO has a contract with Tracing Services Ltd (TSL) which is running the three year programme to set up ELTO and will manage the day-to-day service provision to ELTO members. TSL takes direction from, and reports to, the interim ELTO Board.

Looking for an employers' liability policy?
The members of ELTO are required to submit data in a set timeframe and in a specific format relating to the EL liabilities they own for UK employers.

Members are also required to search their own policy archives for enquiries that have not resulted in an immediate ELD match.
